Instructions
Ponds with Plants: Add 1-1/4 cups of API POND POND SALT for each 100 US gallons of pond water.
Ponds without Plants: Add 2-1/2 cups of API POND POND SALT for each 100 gallons of pond water.
Disease Treatment: Short-term salt baths are beneficial to kill external parasites and treat fungal infections. In a plastic container, dissolve 2-1/2 cups of API POND POND SALT in 10 US gallons of pond water. Do not use tap water. Carefully place infected fish in the salt bath for 5 to 10 minutes, Do not leave fish in the salt bath for more than 10 minutes. Return the fish to the pond. Treatment may be repeated after 24 hours.
Once added to the pond, API POND POND SALT does not evaporate and is not filtered out. So, add additional API POND POND SALT with each water change. The addition of API POND POND SALT is not recommended when topping off due to evaporation.
